So We Dance
Quick fingers and moist lips, we exhale into this burning night. It’s a skin we shed bare beneath the silver moon, and every strum is just a lullaby swinging against tender hips. Like the sweat of skin and the gasp of meditation’s sigh we bury ourselves deep; a floating and euphoric chill that circulates and roots within the flesh. We breathe heavy and spill out our veins on a melting stage. Much like electric wires, we fray in a tangled mess of our anguish and passion. So we’ll ignite the night with kerosene. Let’s make this a dance of lovers and mix it to our strings and beats. I want to slow melodic dance with you, my little music box, twirling in the palm of my hand.
