I cannot give you a definition of what love is or even of what love is not. I cannot even tell you how to know when you have found it, and I cannot promise that you will know it when you see it. I can promise you that you will make mistakes, maybe get your heart broken, and maybe break someone’s heart in turn. I can also promise that true love and false love will be difficult to distinguish. Sometimes love will make you cry harder than you thought possible but that doesn’t mean you’re weak; it’s a sign of courage, strength, and even wisdom. I can promise you that there is only one, and one day you will know your own heart. I can promise that it’s worth waiting for.
